How small is the world?

When I was a younger woman, early 20s maybe? I went to a birthday party at the Ojai Art Center of a woman who was turning 100. That woman? Yes, Beatrice Wood...this teeny tiny woman draped in scarves and surrounded by a wild group of revellers dressed in the style of Louis XIV complete with giant powdered wigs, pale faces and randomly placed beauty marks. It was unreal...my father, also an artist, lives just down the street. That's where I grew up!

In other small world news, I live in Paris...alors bienvenue!

Love Iris! The older we get, the more we are "able" to do and dress the way we want.

Style and creativity go hand in hand. Clothes are not clothes, but artistic expression, just like everything we are and do. Thank you for this inspiring piece.
