Mmm lovely. Noticing is so beautiful and so essential in the witnessing of this world. It's so funny. I'd never heard of snow fleas, and then last week I read the The Ice Palace where these little black things in snow were mentioned and until this moment I still had no idea what they were. Now you have made the link for me, which is a sort of magic to me. My whole life I've never heard of them and then twice in two weeks. And what I love about that is the secret threads of connection that come brightly to life by chance. Magic. And that too starts with noticing doesn't it? Xx

Magic most certainly comes from noticing-- more and more I find it to be the thread of truth... 💕

"Meanwhile, snow fleas are happy, living naked in below zero temperatures, munching on decaying plants." This made me chuckle out loud and it's so true. I loved loved loved this. I've started a "five things" journal practice that I got from @JeannineOuellette which helps me be even more present and _notice_ things in a way that helps me remember them enough to write them down later - not in the moment, but sometimes much later. "Walk, stop and look. Understand that this is what we are part of, not the board room or the assembly line. " So much yes. ❤

Very lovely Diana. Thank you for bringing my mind back to nature as I re enter the boardroom. I think if we can take ourselves back to these moments, it allows us to pause for a moment to make more thoughtful decisions especially in our work lives.
